A story of recovery, purpose, and finding peace through candle making.
Built Through Healing
Recovery Changed Everything
Getting sober was the first real step toward rebuilding my life, but it didn’t fix everything overnight. It was the start of learning how to live again — one day at a time.
Four years into my sobriety, I lost my job.
Without structure or purpose, my mental health started to decline. I felt myself slipping back into a place I worked hard to escape. I felt lost again, and I didn’t recognize who I was becoming.
I knew I needed something to hold onto before I lost myself completely.
The Small Gift That Changed My Life
That’s when my wife bought me a candle-making kit.
I never expected much from it, and I never imagined it would change my life.
But when I started making candles, something shifted.
Melting wax, blending scents, pouring each candle by hand — it brought a quiet I hadn’t felt in years.
Candle making became therapy. It gave me peace when I didn’t have any.
We Never Thought Anyone Would Love Them
We started making candles late at night, figuring everything out as we went. We made mistakes constantly — labels, scents, everything was trial and error.
We would laugh, fix things, and try again.
We never thought anyone would actually buy them.
So when the first orders came in, it didn’t feel real.
Every order, every message, every bit of support meant more than we can explain.
Because this wasn’t just a business — it was part of our healing.
More Than A Candle
To us, these candles represent more than fragrance.
They represent healing.
They represent comfort.
They represent slowing down and protecting your peace.
They represent second chances.
Every candle is a reminder that even in difficult seasons, something meaningful can still be created.
Thank You For Being Here
Thank you for supporting this small business.
Thank you for supporting my recovery, my healing, and something that started during one of the hardest chapters of my life.
What you’re supporting isn’t just candles — it’s growth, resilience, and second chances.
And I am truly grateful for you being here.
